- TWANG -

TWANG is my guitar string marketing brand that focuses on the use of recycled materials. The strings consist of 100% recycled nickel as well as the box with recycled paper. A theme of my summer work has been simplification. Reducing eye traffic and just focusing on the essential aspects of the product. I have been focusing a lot on the power of recycling and reusing material that will eventually go to waste. Anything can have a second chance; why not make it sound amazing. TWANG is dedicated to bringing you solid and reliable strings while saving the planet you play them on.

- PROCESS WORK -

I really enjoyed the process of designing this package branding. It was fun to work through color and type with the title and information sections. I focused a lot of my time working through logo vs. text as the primary branding of the box. Although a logo would be interesting to develop, I thought the text was authentic to the marketing idea. This design process could’ve gone several different ways, but I like where it ended up and the message it holds.
